The Nutcracker. These holiday characters are a little scary, because of the jaws and teeth and bold colors, but they are also funny, because they seem to take themselves so seriously. I painted this one for a holiday CD package. I wanted to keep it bold and simple, and not too frightening to behold! That knife, though, ended up being a little too menacing.
