Chelsea Clinton mentions “Chugga Chugga Choo Choo” at Democratic Convention

July 29, 2016

I am delighted that Chelsea Clinton mentioned, during her speech at the Democratic Convention, the importance of reading and sharing books. She said that her mom, Hillary Clinton, would always be happy to put down whatever she was doing to read “Chugga Chugga Choo Choo” to her granddaughter. This is a great shout-out for author Kevin Lewis and me, as well as the children’s book community who understand the value of reading and sharing books with our children. Thanks to our editor Ken Geist for giving Kevin and me the chance to work on this book together.
